Competition, News

Our competitive dance team continued impressing the crowds in June with competitions in Boston and Indianapolis. While both Kathy Hartel and Cindi Parker competed well at the Boston Dance-O-Rama, a special acknowledgment is due for Cindi Parker’s placement in the top 6 in both the Rhythm and Smooth Scholarships!

In Indianapolis, our team included Charlie Cook, Bob and Becky Belisle, and Pat Hixson. And while all 4 dancers exceeded expectations, Charlie gets special mention for his top student award! And a big CONGRATULATIONS to the whole team who won 2ND PLACE TOP STUDIO!

Competitions represent a wonderful opportunity to see different places, spend time with family and friends, and get some great exercise. Our competitive team is headed to Irvine, California next for the Unique Dance-O-Rama July 17 – 21. And if you’re looking for something a little closer, there’s still time to dip your toes into DanceSport with our own local Dreamland Dance Classic on July 27 at the Sharonville, Ohio, Convention Center.
